FAQ
-
What kind of wedding photography do you do?
I specialise in inclusive wedding photography that captures genuine emotion and storytelling. My approach focuses on creating authentic, candid moments that reflect the unique personalities of each couple. I work closely with free-spirited couples across the North West and beyond, ensuring every image conveys their personal journey and love story. As an LGBTQ+-owned business, inclusivity and respect are at the heart of my work, celebrating diverse relationships and all forms of love with sensitivity and care.
-
What does “documentary wedding photography” mean?
It means I tell the story of your wedding day through natural, unscripted moments. I’ll be everywhere and nowhere at once (my couples often call me a ninja!), blending in with your guests so you can just relax and be yourselves.
-
Do you edit your photos?
Yes, I carefully edit every photo to keep colours true-to-life, with a gentle warmth that reflects how your day really felt. I don’t do heavy retouching or alter how people look- I believe that everyone deserves to feel beautiful exactly as they are.
-
Are you an LGBTQ+ inclusive photographer?
Absolutely. I’m a queer-owned business and proudly inclusive of all couples. Whoever you are, whoever you love, and however you celebrate, you’re always welcome here.
-
We're planning a non-traditional wedding. Is that your sort of thing?
Honestly, there is nothing I love more than a non-traditional wedding! I love working with creative, free-spirited couples who do things their own way, whether that’s a city elopement, a pub reception, or a barefoot ceremony in the woods. You’ll never hear any judgement or expectations from me - I passionately believe that everyone deserves to have a wedding day that feels absolutely, unapologetically ‘them’.
-
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 12–18 months ahead, especially for peak summer dates. But if you’re planning something last minute or a smaller gathering, it’s always worth checking my availability!
-
What packages do you offer?
I offer three main options: full-day (up to 10 hours), half-day (up to 5 hours), and short coverage for micro-weddings (from 2 hours). All packages include fully edited images in an online gallery, printing rights, and a personal online store for prints and albums.
-
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I’m based in Warrington, Cheshire, but photograph weddings all over the North West, including Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, and beyond. I also have lots of connections further afield so will travel pretty much anywhere within the UK! All mainland UK travel and accommodation costs are included in my packages too.
-
How do we book you?
Once you’ve had a read of my website and decided which of my packages best fits your needs and budget, submit a contact form via my website with all the key details about your day and any additional questions you might have. We can then book in a quick call to get to know each other better and talk through your plans.
-
How many photos will we get?
It depends on the package you book, but usually around 500–800 for a full-day wedding. Every image you receive is hand-edited and ready to download in both high resolution and web size.
-
How long will it take to get our photos?
Usually 6–8 weeks. I’ll also send you a sneak peek gallery within a week so you can relive some of the magic straight away!
-
Can we order prints or albums?
Yep, you (and your loved ones!) can order high-quality prints, albums, and keepsakes directly through your online gallery.
