Relaxed Autumnal Wedding at Lyme Breeze, Cheshire
Sian and Danny’s beautiful wedding day at Lyme Breeze had so many things I love as a wedding photographer – stunning early autumn light at their outdoor ceremony, dogs (who doesn’t love dogs at weddings?), gorgeous locations for couples’ photos and a seriously lovely couple. Oh, and did I mention a big red bus? Yep, there was a big red bus too!
A red bus arrival at Lyme Breeze
We started this gorgeous wedding day at Sian’s family home, with chilled bridal prep vibes and a super emotional first look with Sian’s dad! We then headed to Lyme Breeze wedding venue, with Sian and her bridesmaids arriving in serious style on a big double decker London bus. With the warm golden sun shining down and a little lull in the morning’s proceedings, I stationed myself covertly behind a tree and captured some of the loveliest candid moments of Sian and her loved ones waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Continuing the theme of epic entrances, Sian was preceded down the aisle not only by both dogs but also their best man acting as flower boy, bringing serious panache to his role! As Sian entered with her dad and met Danny at the end of the aisle, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
A stunning canalside wedding venue
Lyme Breeze is nestled in the Cheshire countryside right next to Macclesfield Canal, providing the most beautiful backdrop for couples’ photos. It was an absolute joy hanging out with Sian and Danny for couples’ photos that exuded the love and joy they had for each other and their wedding day.
With a magician, garden games and some of the funniest speeches I’ve heard in a long time, this wedding day was so full of laughter and fun. Lyme Breeze served as the perfect Cheshire wedding venue for Sian and Danny’s big day - and even delivered a beautiful golden hour for us as the evening drew in!
Days like this are such a highlight for me as a wedding photographer, with so much vibrancy and affection to capture.
