Canal Street Wedding Photography
Back in January last year, I had the immense privilege of working with some of the best in the business to bring a beautiful LGBTQ+ styled shoot to life.
With an atmosphere that can never be dampened, even by the drizzly January weather, Canal Street was the focal point of this gorgeous workshop. Alongside an intimate group of fellow photographers, I worked with Untold Workshops and the inimitable Glen and Tom to create magic on the streets of Manchester's LGBTQ+ haven. We started at Leven Manchester, which provided super cool groom prep vibes with its muted decor, balcony access and central location. We then headed out into the afternoon drizzle for intimate but fun couples' portraits on Canal Street itself.

We topped off our adventure through the Gay Village at one of its most famous institutions ,
G-A-Y. I have to admit, there was something kinda weird about being in this usually buzzing nightclub at midday with no-one else around, and it provided such a brilliant and colourful backdrop for some dancing and photobooth photographs.
Manchester Art Gallery Wedding
In a slight vibe change, we finished up the workshop at the stunning Manchester Art Gallery followed by a simulated wedding ceremony under the arches near the Manchester Library. The Art Gallery is one of my favourite wedding venues in Manchester, and the arches and Library exterior are probably some of the city's most photographed spots, so it was great to be able to put my own stamp on photographs here!

Creative workshops are such a great way for photographer to learn from each other, develop skills, network and create stunning images for portfolios.
